DocsGPT pricing has four options: Cloud at $20 per seat per month, Managed (a dedicated instance run by Arc53) from $2,000 per month, and On-premises and Air-gapped from $10,000, as a one-time or a recurring fee. The software is MIT-licensed; there is no per-seat licence for self-hosted deployments.

Cloud: Arc53 operates a multi-tenant service and the LLM runs at a cloud provider. Managed: Arc53 operates a dedicated instance in your chosen region; the LLM runs at a cloud provider, on a local engine on the instance, or with your own key (BYOM). On-premises: you operate DocsGPT inside your network; the LLM runs locally, or (hybrid) prompts cross the boundary to a cloud provider you choose. Air-gapped: zero external network; LLM, embeddings, vector store and storage all run inside your perimeter.

Four ways to buy. Cloud is priced per seat at $20/seat/month and operated by Arc53 in the EU region. Managed is a dedicated instance run by Arc53 in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa or Asia, from $2,000 a month with a usage allowance included. On-premises and Air-gapped are run by the customer with Arc53 implementation, from $10,000 as a one-time fee (POC and implementation) or a recurring fee that includes production support; neither is priced per seat.

Flat AI pricing vs pay-as-you-go: which costs less at scale?

Per-seat products meter your heaviest users twice: a seat fee, then API or usage overage once they lean on the tool. Self-hosted DocsGPT is a flat infrastructure cost: your GPUs, your storage, a support contract, and no per-seat licence, so the hundredth and the ten-thousandth user cost the same. Cloud DocsGPT is per seat at $20, with no seat minimum; a Managed instance starts from $2,000 a month whatever the headcount; On-premises and Air-gapped start from $10,000, one-time or recurring.

Both start from $10,000. As a one-time fee it covers the one-week POC and implementation: deploy, SSO/SCIM, connectors, model selection and benchmarking on your hardware. As a recurring fee it covers the same plus production support with named engineers for the term. Either way the price is fixed on scope, not seats, and the software itself is MIT-licensed.

What does a typical Proof of Concept look like?

One week to stand up on your infrastructure with 2–3 data sources and agreed checks, from $10,000. Most implementations are production-ready in 30 days.

How do seats work if we self-host?

There is no seat licence. Cost is your hardware plus the support contract; a T4-class GPU estate has been sufficient for a bank processing 10,000+ documents a day, fully air-gapped.
